Can take 3-5 sessions on average to solve most common problems

Alternative to Mainstream Psychotherapy: Results-driven, Faith-based, Cost-Efficient

Don't waste your time and money on conventional psychology that doesn't work. Have Faith, solve your problems and start living a happy life.

The Practitioner

My name is Kareem Maliki, I have been studying Psychology and Mental/Emotional Health & Well-Being since 2017. I have started this journey to solve my own anxiety and anger issues.

I was not happy with the existing approaches; I went through many of them and had to come up with my own. That's how Nafsopathology began.

After I began practicing and teaching it to others, I remember one therapist told me, "This method is so efficient that it will put many of us out of business".

I have thought to myself, "Not at all. Those who come only to complain will keep coming. It works for those who really want to solve their problems."

Results-Driven

Conventional Psychotherapy:

Some practitioners might tell you that they require at least 5 sessions just to understand your situation, before even starting to work on it. Some will give no estimation at all, suggesting instead to work on "building therapist-client relationship first".

Nafsopathology:

We can set a realistic and achievable goal within the initial consultation. After every session you can measure the progress yourself, noticing changes in your emotional state, behavior and thinking patterns. If at any point there will be no tangible progress after three consecutive sessions, you should search for another method or a different specialist.

Faith-Based

Conventional Psychotherapy:

The problem with so many therapeutic approaches is that they often fall into one of the two extremities:

Either they see human being solely as an animal, claiming to be scientific and evidence-based in the approach, yet forgetting that a human is much more than a piece of flesh.

Or they take entirely esoteric and mystical approach, talking about past lives, energies and frequencies. Not only these beliefs make any objective evaluation impossible, but they can directly contradict client's faith and religious teachings.

Nafsopathology:

We recognise that a human being has both animal (instincts) and angelic (intellect) natures:

Our needs to survive, socialize and procreate are all parts of who we are. Trying to distract ourselves from fulfilling these basic needs with some sort of spiritual ventures is a just a form of avoidance.

Our intellect elevates us above the animal; we have a concept of our selves and we are aware of our death. This knowledge urges us to search for the meaning of our life in this world that goes beyond simple survival. Dismissing this need or simply viewing religion as a "helpful coping mechanism" is what prevents secular materialistic psychology to solve existential life problems.

Cost-Efficient

Conventional Psychotherapy:

The popular mainstream psychology is neither scientific nor evidence-based. This is why you can not request a quotation for solving a specific problem from your psychologist the same way you do at your dentistry or a car service. Instead, some psychologist may suggest "to work on building trust between therapist and client", which in a plain English means "a client must keep coming and keep paying".

Nafsopathology:

Right from the beginning, we focus on identifying the root causes of emotional distress. When working with post-traumatic stress disorder, we aim to remember the traumatic event already at the first session. This allows us to start the healing process immediately and reduce the amount of sessions.

Clients Reviews

Client 1

“It was initially challenging to identify and name my emotions accurately, Fortunately this improved with practice. Another valuable lesson I learnt was that "I was not responsible for the emotions of others" and this realisation brought great relief to me and it has also become my personal mantra.”

Client 2

“I was nervous in the beginning. I did not understand how the approach would work. The experience was very beneficial for me. I have been able to identify my behaviour before the situation gets out of hand for me. I highly recommend this technique.”

Client 3

“I have been for therapy and even admitted to a healthcare clinic. The well-being of one's mental health is truly an understatement. After just one practice session and lots of crying of course I have never felt so relieved in the past five years.”

Colleagues Recommendations
